GYBN UK is a national chapter of the Global Youth Biodiversity Network, the official youth participation platform for the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD).
GYBN UKs vision for nature in the UK, our mission and objective as a chapter were co-created by GYBN UK founding committee and attendees of the Youth Priorities for Nature workshop held in Summer 2024.
For a resilient, inclusive, and interconnected UK where ecosystems are restored and biodiversity is thriving locally, nationally, and globally. People see themselves as part of nature and live and work in harmony with it.
Our mission is to empower, enable and unite youth across the UK, through building a coalition of young people and organisations across the four countries, inspiring all young people to be leaders for nature, particularly in policy and decision making processes.
